Hi, I'm Megan Jauregui Eccles and I'm an author, editor, professor, and poet. I write dark, speculative fiction with slow burn romances, mysterious strangers who sing you into the dark, masquerade balls and the exploration of grief and ambition.

 

My debut fantasy novel Sing the Night is a gothic fantasy inspired by Phantom of the Opera about an ambitious soprano trying to win a magical singing competition who makes a Faustian bargain with a ghost trapped in a mirror to teach her forbidden magic in exchange for his freedom and is available now through Grand Central Publishing and Piatkus.
